RN Lead - ICU (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care plans, and managing staffing based on patient acuity and needs. Initiate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback on nursing services. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, investigate operational issues, and recommend policy changes in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. Coach and discipline staff as appropriate, manage performance evaluations, and instruct new personnel on job duties. Maintain equipment safety, control staffing costs within budget, and document unit activities for the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
