RN Lead - ED (Part Time, Day Shift)

Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, while making rounds to assess patient needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to activities, and coach or discipline staff as appropriate. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and recommend policy changes to improve customer satisfaction. Maintain department equipment, ensure cleanliness, and keep staffing costs within targeted budget.
