Job Summary
Conduct clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice acts, administering medications and performing treatments per orders. Monitor resident clinical conditions to identify status changes, ensuring comfort and safety while promoting independence through care goal establishment and self-care skill teaching. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic care plans, participate in care conferences, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records. Support physical, spiritual, and psych-social needs of residents and families, working alongside care associates for routine nursing care. Requires active RN license in New Jersey, minimum six months experience, and CPR certification. Full-time evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
- Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
- Active CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
- Experience with an electronic medical record
