Job Summary
RN Labor & Delivery role delivering nursing care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) per ANA standards, ensuring ethical and culturally congruent care, and collaborating with obstetric teams to achieve optimal maternal and newborn outcomes. Requires current RN licensure in Michigan, ADN/BSN per listed requirements, BLS/NRP certifications, and ongoing competency in fetal heart monitoring; 1+ year of acute care RN experience preferred. Located in Grand Rapids, MI, working night shifts in a full-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required within 90 days
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification Required within 1.5 years
