Job Summary
Accountable for delivering patient care 24 hours a day in Labor and Delivery, establishing and enforcing nursing standards, developing and monitoring unit-based quality improvement goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting patient/family satisfaction. Collaborates with clinical specialists and educators to plan and implement educational programs for all staff, acts as patient advocate, and participates in staff development, grievance management, and cultural considerations. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Washington RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatric upon hire
- 1 year - Labor and Delivery Nursing experience
