RN, Labor and Delivery (Per Diem, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients and supervises assigned nursing staff while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to coordinate care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, then implements intervention plans to promote a safe and healing environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and certifications including BLS, NRP, ACLS, FHM, and STABLE.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
