RN, Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery according to established standards, supervising assigned staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, humane delivery of services. Collect and analyze patient health data to develop intervention plans, implement care strategies, and evaluate progress toward outcomes. Delegate duties appropriately, participate in discharge planning for continuity, and provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team. Requires BSN preferred, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications. Full-time night shift position at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
