Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in labor and delivery, supervising staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams while utilizing critical judgment. Collects and analyzes assessment data to develop and implement care plans, promoting a safe environment and providing health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications. Full-time night shift position at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
