Job Summary
Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings to determine care issues, and develop intervention plans to attain specific health outcomes. Implement care delivery strategies, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and delegate duties to appropriate staff members. Provide health information to patients and families, facilitate discharge planning for continuity of care, and evaluate progress toward patient goals. Requires BSN preferred, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and Fetal Heart Monitoring. Night shift rotation at a 254-bed acute care facility in Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
