RN, Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff while collaborating with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide a safe, healing, and humane environment. Implements care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes, participates in discharge planning for continuity of care, and delegates duties to healthcare team members as assigned. Collects relevant data, analyzes assessment information to determine diagnosis and care issues, and evaluates progress toward patient outcomes. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications; includes night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
