Job Summary
Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings to determine care issues, and develop intervention plans to attain desired outcomes. Implement care delivery strategies, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and delegate duties to appropriate healthcare staff members. Provide health information to patients and families while participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications. Night shift position at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
