RN, Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment findings to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately to healthcare team members and performs other job-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
