RN, Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery, supervising nursing staff and directing activities per established standards. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing learning opportunities and health information while participating in discharge planning. Delegates duties to team members and performs other assigned job-related responsibilities. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and certifications including BLS, NRP, ACLS, FHM, and STABLE. Full-time night shift position.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
