Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for labor and delivery patients, supervising staff and directing activities according to established standards. Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses, develop intervention plans, and implement strategies to promote a safe environment. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers while participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate duties appropriately and provide learning opportunities for team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications. Night shift, full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
