Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in a 254-bed acute care facility, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects relevant data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops intervention plans, and evaluates progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, healing environment while participating in discharge planning for continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately to team members as assigned. Requires BSN preferred, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and fetal heart monitoring skills. Full-time night shift position with vaccination requirements and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
