RN, Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in labor and delivery according to established standards, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, implementing intervention plans to promote health and a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers while participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately to team members and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN preferred, ACLS/ALS certification, and fetal heart monitoring skills.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
