Job Summary
Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings to determine care issues, and develop intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Implement care delivery strategies, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and delegate duties appropriately while maintaining a safe, healing environment. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide learning opportunities for patients and team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, FHM, and NRP certifications. Full-time night shift position at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
