Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients and assigned groups according to established standards, supervising staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote health and safety. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, providing learning opportunities and health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties to team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and certifications including ACLS, NRP, FHM, and HLFS. Full-time night shift position.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
