Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Full-Time Night Shift position in Labor & Delivery, working 72 hours per pay period (three 12hr shifts per week). Responsibilities include independently providing patient care using the nursing process, performing leadership and teaching duties, and participating in continuous quality improvement activities. The RN must assess patients’ biophysical and psychosocial needs, develop individualized plans of care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Required qualifications include active RN licensure, an Associates degree in Nursing, BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications, along with a minimum of one year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in State of Maryland or compact state
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- Min 1 yr Labor & Delivery Nursing Experience Required
- BLS certification is required
- NRP certification required upon hire or within 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years of employment
- C-EFM certification required upon hire or within 1 yr of employment
