RN - Labor and Delivery Experienced Nurses only Full Time Nights (Springfield)

Job Summary
Provide patient care in Labor and Delivery using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care across departments. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis, along with prolonged standing, walking, and bending. Work night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotational weekends and holidays. Eligible for sign-on bonuses based on years of experience and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods each shift
- Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Must be available for nightshift only 7p-7a
- Must be available for rotational weekends and holidays
- Must have RN experience in Labor and Delivery or Postpartum or 2 years RN experience in other specialties
Desired Qualifications
- 3-4 years' RN experience
- 5+ years' RN experience
