Job Summary
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review. Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes while developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collections. Maintain confidential patient charts and document ongoing status, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Provide patient and family education based on their learning readiness and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- RN License in state of employment
- Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally
- up to 20 lbs. frequently
- up to 10lbs. constantly
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience
