Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour patient care in Labor and Delivery, managing assigned clinical operations and coordinating delivery rounds with anesthesia, laborists, and neonatology teams. Enforce standards of practice by developing unit-based quality improvement programs, tracking staff turnover, and addressing grievances up to step two. Assess patient care and family satisfaction, advocate for ethical and legal issues, and coach staff to maintain clinical competence across all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatric upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
