Job Summary
Monitor fetal heart rates, manage contractions, assist physicians with deliveries or C-sections, and provide postpartum care and newborn support. Requires current Pennsylvania RN license, CPR certification, and completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program, STABLE Program, Cardiac Advanced Life Support, Basic Arrhythmia Course, and Fetal Monitoring Competency within orientation or six months. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) at the Regional Hospital of Scranton supports expectant mothers before, during, and immediately after childbirth.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice professional nursing issued by the State of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (upon completion of orientation)
- STABLE Program (within 6 months of hire)
- Cardiac Advanced Life Support Program (within 6 months of hire)
- Basic Arrhythmia Course (upon completion of orientation)
- Fetal Monitoring Competency (upon completion of orientation)
