Job Summary

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Labor and Delivery unit, conducting thorough patient assessments, administering medications, and monitoring fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring. Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures, manage pain relief techniques including epidurals, and perform routine newborn assessments and education on postpartum care. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in code team activities, and implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and advocate for patient rights while documenting all findings accurately.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support

Desired Qualifications

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
