Job Summary
RN L&D Float Pool role based at UCHealth Anschutz in Aurora supporting University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, and Longs Peak Hospital. Provides direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, Birth Center, and NICU with top-of-scope nursing practice, using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team. Roles include precepting new staff, embracing evidence-based practice, and focusing on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Onsite activity with day and night rotation; participates in Women and Infants care and adheres to practice standards (AWHONN, AACN) and certifications (RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, CCRN). Eligible for comprehensive UCHealth benefits and professional growth programs; eligible for incentive bonus and merit pay growth. Location-specific units include Mother/Baby, Birth Center, and NICU; environment supports advanced education and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
