Job Summary
RN in Labor & Delivery Float Pool providing direct patient care across multiple UCHealth campuses within the Metro Denver area. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process in direct patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient wellness, and precepting new staff or learners. Required education/licensure includes RN license, BLS, and NRP within 6 months of hire, plus 6 months Women and Infants nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship; NRP within 6 months of hire. This is an on-site, full-time role with day and night rotation across affiliated facilities (University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
