Job Summary
Direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, Birth Center, and NICU units across Highlands Ranch, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado Hospitals. Provide top-of-scope nursing practice utilizing the nursing process while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based care, and multidisciplinary team approaches to ensure safety and quality at the point of care. Support clinical orientation with individualized specialty education and competency validation. Part-time schedule of 48 hours per pay period with rotating days and nights. Requires state RN licensure, six months of Women and Infants experience or UCHealth Fellowship completion, and current NRP, BLS, and CPR certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
