Job Summary
Administer medications within scope of practice and hospital policies while assessing, evaluating, and documenting patients' physical and mental status. Establish rapport with patients and families to resolve care requirements, promote independence through education on conditions and self-care, and ensure quality by measuring health outcomes against established goals. Maintain a safe environment by complying with protocols, keeping electronic medical records confidential, and contributing to team efforts measured by Press Ganey/HCAPS and AIDET standards. Complete annual competency education and maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications. Requires BSN preferred or college diploma, RN license, ACLS, and BLS certification.
