Job Summary
RN L&D Hospital Float Pool at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. Provides direct patient care in Labor & Delivery as part of a hospital float pool, utilizing the nursing process within Women's Care and Infants units. Demonstrates a multidisciplinary team approach, prioritizes wellness and evidence-based practice, and may precept staff or new learners. Requires RN licensure, a nursing program graduate, and current BLS; NRP within 6 months of hire; 6 months Women & Infants RN experience (or UCHealth Fellowship). On-site night shift with a 72-hour per two-week schedule and Night Shift Incentive Program; potential for involvement in Birth Center, Mother/Baby, and NICU modules. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
