Job Summary
RN L&D Hospital Float Pool – onsite in Colorado Springs providing direct patient care in Labor & Delivery with a float pool role. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process in direct patient care, contributing to safety and quality, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and precepting those new to UCHealth. The role supports Women and Infants services (Mother/Baby, Birth Center, NICU) with opportunities to apply evidence-based practice and participate in ongoing clinical education. Night shift with incentive program; full-time schedule; night hours/USD pay reflects experience. Requires RN licensure and NRP, BLS/CPR credentials prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
