Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, and NICU units while adhering to AWHONN and AACN practice standards. Prioritize evidence-based care, patient wellness, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide competency validation through Clinical Educators. Maintain current NRP, BLS, and relevant certifications, with BLS/CPR cards required before start date. This full-time night shift role offers a three-year incentive bonus, comprehensive benefits including PTO and PSLF eligibility, and access to tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- AWHONN's and AACN's practice standards and certifications including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN
