Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, and NICU units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes via a multidisciplinary team approach in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain NRP certification and BLS/CPR credentials current through hire. This full-time nights role requires 6 months of women's and infants nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship completion.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- Shift: Nights
