Job Summary
RN in the West Float Team (WEST) across WellStar units during night shifts. Float to different units to provide comprehensive ante-, intra-, and post-partum care, administer medications, ensure sterile technique and IV competency, and support patients and families through care planning. Requires active RN license, BLS, NRP, ACLS, and minimum 2 years of direct patient care; Diploma or BSN preferred. Opportunities to mentor and precept nurses and students, engage in ongoing competency assessments, and collaborate within a high-performing healthcare team. Flexible hours to meet departmental needs; Night shift; Marietta, GA location.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or BSN preferred
- RN (Single State or Multi-state Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Basic computer skills and ability to leverage technology in clinical care
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a challenging environment and respond to emergencies effectively
- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
