Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery Birth Center or NICU units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Deliver care guided by AWHONN and AACN standards, including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN certifications. Work nights in a multidisciplinary team environment, completing 72 hours per pay period with a quarterly incentive bonus.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire or transfer
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
