Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery Birth Center, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain RNC-OB certification, NRP, and ACLS skills, ensuring BLS/CPR cards remain current throughout the 60-day orientation period. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) at the Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora, CO, earning a base rate of $35.29–$54.71 per hour plus a quarterly night shift incentive. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP and ACLS 6 months from hire and transfer
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
