Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery Birth Center, utilizing the nursing process and prioritizing evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team. Support women and infants across direct care units including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Adhere to AWHONN and AACN practice standards, ensuring safe, quality care at the point of care. Work full-time nights (72 hours/period) earning $35.29–$54.71/hour with a quarterly night shift incentive. Requires RN licensure, 6 months Women and Infants experience, NRP certification, and current BLS/CPR.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 3 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
