Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for an assigned patient population on a 37-bed acute care unit serving oncology, neurology, and medical/surgical overflow. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform patient tests, and administer medications within scope of practice. Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-management skills. Maintain regular, predictable attendance while meeting age-specific needs of the assigned unit. The role supports a Level 3 Epilepsy Center and Level 2 Stroke Center within Kootenai Health's 3East-Onc/Neuro/Gen Med Unit. Candidates must be a licensed RN with at least three years of patient-facing experience.
