RN, KOC Surgical Recovery (Per Diem, Day Shift)

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the KOC Surgical Recovery unit according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment findings to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain specific outcomes. Implements care delivery strategies to promote a safe environment, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Delegates duties appropriately to team members and provides health information and learning opportunities to patients and staff. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and PALS certification.
