Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for adults with conditions such as pneumonia, cellulitis, and respiratory infections on the Inpatient Med/Surg unit. Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams while ensuring patient safety, completing documentation, and delivering compassionate care. Perform frequent assessments and assist with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing. Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with part-time availability of 12 or 24 hours weekly and self-scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift and assist up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior hospital or acute-care nursing experience
- Specialty certifications
