Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Operating Room, PACU, or Perioperative settings using evidence-based practice and the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain BLS certification before hire and ACLS/PALS within six months if not on the PICC team. Work full-time days shifts at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, reporting to the Radiology RNs North department.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire (for those not on the PICC team)
