Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area while leading unit leadership under Nurse Supervisor or RN Coordinator supervision. Apply clinical knowledge to ensure patient safety and comfort, utilizing critical thinking to prioritize needs and facilitate timely care. Administer CPR, oxygen, and intravenous therapy using appropriate equipment and supplies. Maintain computer proficiency for selected patient populations and document care within the Epic system. Requires current Texas RN license, BLS certification, and 6+ months of clinical experience. Hourly pay ranges from $29.00 to $52.00 for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program
- Current and valid Texas RN license
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- 6+ months of experience in a clinical area
- 1 year KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services
- Computer experience
- Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical area
- Including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Specialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or one appropriate to the specialty area assigned
- ACLS and/or PALS
- 2+ years of ambulatory care
- EPIC experienced
- Windows bases computer skills
