RN - Interventional Pain Clinic/Procedural

Job Summary
Delivers direct patient care to assigned patients in the Interventional Pain Clinic, utilizing the nursing process to collect assessment data and develop plans of care. Implements medical orders through an interdisciplinary approach, evaluates patient progress toward desired outcomes, and provides effective patient and family education. Administers medications per standard and acts as a resource for student nurses and staff while delegating care based on legal and regulatory requirements. Requires a valid Arkansas RN license, one year of direct nursing experience, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants
- Graduate from an ASBN approved nursing program
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's in Nursing, Master's in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas
- 1 year of direct RN Nursing Care experience
- ACLS required for procedures
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Motor Vehicle Reports Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
