Job Summary
As an RN on the Internal Medicine team, you will provide direct nursing care, implement and evaluate patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. This position requires a graduate from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. A caregiver with one year of acute care experience or military RN experience is preferred. Physical requirements include full range motion for lifting patients, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Additional Requirements
- Employment follows testing for controlled substances
- Compliance with the influenza prevention program which includes obtaining an influenza vaccination annually or obtaining an approved exemption
