Job Summary
Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the health-care team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. This ICU Stepdown role at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown requires a Licensed Registered Nurse with 6+ months of acute care experience and current Advanced Life Support and BLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
- 6+ months of acute care nursing experience
