RN - Intensive Care Unit

Perform all unit-specific responsibilities and implement procedures related to the scope of service. Complete initial patient assessments upon admission, develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs, and modify interventions through continuous evaluation. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care to ensure information integration for the healthcare team. Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting hazards, communicate directly with colleagues to resolve issues, and utilize meaningful hourly rounding and bedside reports to foster communication. Collaborate with the team to support ventilated patients and facilitate early mobility. Fulfill all departmental competency requirements while identifying personal learning needs to expand the knowledge base.
