Job Summary
Teach students in CNA, PCA, and HHA training programs through classroom instruction and hands-on skills training. Conduct competency evaluations, maintain attendance and grades, and supervise clinical rotations when applicable. Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health and Department of Education standards while preparing students for certification and career readiness. Work Monday to Friday with optional weekend availability on a day or evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in long-term care, home care, or related healthcare setting preferred
- Teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, professional, and student-focused
