Job Summary
Utilize ultrasound guidance to place peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICCs at the patient's bedside while collaborating with primary nursing and providers to determine the optimal line type for patient outcomes. Work closely with Infection Prevention to improve quality outcomes and apply the nursing process to provide individualized care. This 12-hour day shift role offers a Nurse Residency Program and robust on-boarding for continued growth. As part of Sanford Health's vascular access team, you will support the largest rural health system in the United States, serving over 2 million patients across the upper Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
