Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in the inpatient surgical services unit. Collaborate with colleagues and physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while empathetically supporting patients through preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise and adapt to the fast-paced work environment. Requires an unencumbered RN license, accredited nursing program graduation, and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time weekend schedule with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Required department specific competencies
- Required certifications
