Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in the inpatient surgical services unit. Collaborate with colleagues and physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while empathetically supporting patients through preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise and competency throughout the continuum of care. This role requires an unencumbered RN license, an accredited nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), and strong adaptability within a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
