Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions in inpatient surgical services. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement, evaluate, and manage the continuum of care from preventive services through follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise while providing empathetic care across all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and health maintenance. Requires an unencumbered RN license, accredited nursing program graduation, and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shift with 36 weekly hours at $35.00-$48.00.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
